Before you start

Automatic contributions update Spendella records; they do not instruct your bank. Use them when the real transfer also follows a clear schedule.

02

What to do

  1. Open the goal for editing.
  2. Enable automatic contributions.
  3. Enter the amount per contribution and choose a day from the offered range.
  4. Select the account recorded as the source of the goal contribution.
  5. Save. After the scheduled date, check goal history and the account balance.
  6. Turn automatic contributions off if you stop saving on that schedule.
03

If something goes wrong

  • Do not add the same amount manually after an automatic entry.
  • Missing contribution: check goal activity, date, source account and available balance.
  • Changing Spendella’s schedule does not change a bank standing order. Update that separately if needed.
