Before you start

Spendella calculates from recorded purchases and the terms you enter. A bank may exclude purchases or calculate differently. Points and money are different reward types.

02

What to do

  1. Open cashback for the account on the website.
  2. Choose money or points as the reward type.
  3. Enter the base percentage and monthly limit from your bank’s terms.
  4. Add boosted categories, percentages and their start dates.
  5. Choose how payouts are recorded and save.
  6. When the bank credits the reward, reconcile it. Do not confirm another payout if it is already recorded.
03

If something goes wrong

  • Enter 5 for a 5% rate, not the reward amount.
  • An incorrect purchase category affects the calculation; check the source transaction.
  • Expected cashback does not mean the bank has credited it. Confirm the final amount with your bank.

What you should see

Cashback is calculated for the card using the conditions you entered.
