How AI works in Spendella

What AI does

Requests go only through Laravel to Yandex Foundation Models. The browser never calls the model directly. You get a category, a draft transaction, a report, or an answer in the hub.

Categorisation, voice, receipts, statement import.
Weekly digest and monthly review.
Chat that can see your accounts, budgets, goals, and transaction history.

What AI does not do

It does not move money, cancel subscriptions, or promise returns. If the data is thin, it says so — it does not invent a confident tip.

It does not compute Basic analytics — that is ordinary math on your rows.
It cannot see other people’s budgets, only yours and ones you were invited to.
It does not charge operations for a pretty screen: manual tracking is free.

How the quota is spent

Each request reserves AI operations. Chat and categorisation cost about 1, patterns 3, the weekly digest 5, the monthly report 10. Free and Basic include 20 demo operations. Packs last 30 days and do not expire with the monthly quota.

Extended includes 75 operations a month, Full 500.
Unused plan quota resets in the next period.
A failed request usually returns the reserved operations.
